thedh1project is the name for the original and primary fundraising goal  that lies at the core of diabeteshappens:  profits from the sale of our merchandise will be used to sponsor children with Type 1 Diabetes to attend The Chris Dudley Basketball Camp. The camp is  a week-long, once in a lifetime experience where young diabetics learn how to control their condition while playing an intensive sport with 16-year NBA veteran Chris Dudley.

In 2008, our scholarship donation sponsored 5 campers. Please help us as we strive to continue this trend and expand our goals.
